The execution of Mr. Ja’far Tajik, son of Azim, along with four other individuals, was reported in the Kayhan newspaper on October 26, 1987.

According to the newspaper report, Mr. Tajik was charged with: “being very active in supplying and distributing heroin, participation in leading a gang with 81 members, transporting 80 kg of heroin from Torbat-e Jam to Mashad, possessing 19 kg of heroin, 5 kg of which was discovered at his house. Additionally he was a professional gambler , for which he was imprisoned for several months.”
