The executions of Mr. Adel Ale Ali and another individual were announced in a communiqué by the Islamic Revolution’s Public Prosecutor’s Office in Ahvaz, which was quoted in the Jomhuri Eslami newspaper on September 11, 1982.

Mr. Ale'ali was reported to be charged with “frequent trips to Iraq, importing weapons and explosives in order to collaborate with anti-Revolutionary forces in Iran, participation in exploding oil pipelines located in Abadan-Ahvaz route, collaboration with the Zionist-Baath aggressors and directing them during their occupation of Khoramshahr, coming to Iran with the intention of spying, membership in the Baath Party.”
