About this Case

News of the execution of Mr. Morteza Khalesi, son of Mohammad, along with another person, was published in the Jomhuri-Eslami newspaper on December 24 and 28, 2002 and in the Kayhan newspaper on January 1, 2003. His case was related to the kidnapping and rape of a girl in Semnan.    

Arrest and Detention

Mr. Khalesi was arrested by police shortly after a woman passenger had been kidnapped and raped by two fellow-passengers of a private taxi in Semnan on April 3, 2002. There is no specific information on his arrest and detention.
