Ms. Ma'sumeh Afshar's name is on a list of persons allegedly executed in Iran. This list was published in a Report of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations on The Situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The report was prepared by Professor Reynaldo Galindo Pohl. A/45/697.

Ms. Afshar is also one of the 1533 executed prisoners listed by the Association of Iranian Women of Köln (Germany). The list published in 1997 is entitled: "A partial list of names of women executed by the Islamic Republic of Iran."
