On January 25, 2020, the head of the Ministry of Justice office in Iran's Hormozgan Province announced that Mr. Isa Zaminkufteh had been executed on charges of leading a drug cartel. Zaminkufteh's father and a local cleric, meanwhile, raise their concerns of failures of evidence and due process in the case and call on judicial officials to investigate.
