Contemporary Perspectives on Transitional Justice
In Fabián Salvioli, Special Rapporteur on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence's report to the United Nations Human Rights Council and to the United Nations General Assembly, he has reviewed and analysed some of the most pressing contemporary issues, concerns, and debates in the field of transitional justice integrating a comprehensive human rights based approach. The present publication reviews the essential contents of those reports. It aims at increasing public awareness and understanding of the findings and recommendations of those reports and at facilitating their wide national and international dissemination among policy makers, civil society, and other stakeholders.
