We, a group of human rights activists, most of us originating from Iran or having lived there, who come from different parts of the world, aim to address issues concerning the human rights situation in Iran. By doing so, we hope to contribute to the improvement of the country.
Our goal is to cover as much human rights related news as possible; however, we are aware of our limitations and believe that what we present on the website is only a portion of what is actually happening in Iran.
We present mainly the news covered in the official Iranian news agencies. It is seldom that we use other reliable news sources. Most of the published news has the official Iranian media as the source.
This site is the official news site of the non-governmental organization "Iran Human Rights" (IHR) and is politically independent.
